Today is Easter. I’m here in Wiltshire, and as I was driving around I came across a big herd of cobs. Cloudy and threatening to rain again, this was not exactly a lovely day. But for these equines, the weather did not really matter because their long shaggy coats are well prepared for the unpredictable elements.
The photos do a bit of injustice to the actual size of the herd; off to the right there were many more cobs.
One of them was particularly cute, and she posed for me. Her face is so dark that you can barely see her gorgeous blue eys.
