Should a  horse’s stomach be empty while they are exercising?  I always heard that feeding before riding is not a good idea. However Dr. Juliet Getty, an equine nutritionist,  has come up with some new ideas, and it’s actually healthy for your horse to have a bit of food in its stomach.  Dr. Getty also publishes a free monthly e-newsletter.
